The façades are an exercise in elegant classic proportions and fine detailing — they will be of their time yet timeless.

Studio PDP conceived the façade for the upper-tier houses as a contemporary refinement of a classic European mansion house. The design displays a strong vertical emphasis and a sense of order and hierarchy. Beautiful stonework is layered with artful metal accents. To create drama, shadow, texture, and depth, they created a rich composition of projecting feature bands, architraves, pilasters, cornices, and reveals.

THREE LIVING ARCHITECTURE

We strive to create environments that lift the human spirit and residences that exuded sophistication, while remaining personal, approachable and understated.

The design is shaped by a desire to maximise three precious resources: light, air and view. The expansive floor-to-ceiling windows with all-glass railings flood the space with daylight. The panoramic views and the use of natural stone are redolent of southern France.The proportions, based on the Fibonacci sequence, resonate with the human body as well as the universe.

Our work always reflects a balance of attention to three ecologies — architecture, site and human ecology.

Drawing on a long tradition of rich details in classicism, the design team focused on creating landscape elements sympathetic to both the architecture and the exquisite mountainous setting. Inspiration was also drawn from cobblestone streets in Europe, leading to the innovative use of paving color to subtly designate pedestrian and vehicular zones.

BTR Workshop based its design concept on the Cap Ferrat lifestyle philosophy to create a luxurious, serene, and elegant atmosphere. The living spaces feature highly decorative ceilings and chandeliers, while the walls are adorned with unique paints, antique mirrors, metal trimmings, marbles, and modern moldings. Inspired by classic French interiors, the firm developed a natural, warm color palette of whites, grays, creams, blushes, and light blues.
